The Meeting of Task Force for Video Spot related on Land rights and Natural Resources

taskforce-meeting-eventsTo continue and repeat the success of the collaboration between Deutsche Gesellschaftf├╝r Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Village Focus International (VFI), the two organizations are beginnign a new project making video spots on land and natural resources in collaboration with related partners. The videos will improve knowledge of land rights issues and natural resources among key stakeholders, including members of the general public, especially rural village communities.The project will also provide learning experiences and skills for Lao students. The task force team included representatives from GIZ, VFI, MoNRE, and Faculty of Law (FoL) were organized two meetings in the end of April and the beginning of May.The first meeting on 30th April 2014 focused discussions on the concept note, activity plan and process of sub activities which will be started from May to September 2014. The second meeting developed the main topics to be uses in the videos, such as: Land registration, Gender equity in land registration, legislation for transfer land holder rights, land conflict management, rights and obligation of land use rights. The team also planned the steps for selection of volunteers to be actors and director assistants in the filming process.
